The David L Hodgkins Memorial Ski SchoolOur goals at Titcomb Mountain and the Farmington Ski Club are to help kids become skier and riders for life. To do this we offer a variety of programs in a safe, supervised, learning and fun environment to help kids progress to a skill level appropriate for their age and abilities.

Weekly Programs- (all classes are full as of 1/16/10)

Group lesson programs for children are available after school, and weekends. Registrations are due in mid-December and most programs start in early January. For specific program details and costs please go to the alpine ski, snowboard or Nordic ski pages.

Private and Group Lessons

Private and group alpine ski and snowboard one-hour lessons are available for children and adults on weekends and during holiday weeks. Please call 48 hours in advance to make a reservation.

Details for 2009-2010

Rates:
1 hour private lesson, first student $25
1 hour semi-private lesson, $15 for each additional student

Times:
Saturdays, 1 pm or 2 pm
Sundays, 10 or 11 am, 1 or 2 pm
Holiday, 11 am, 1 or 2 pm

Private Lessons-Special Learn to Ski or Snowboard Package
Includes 1 hour lesson, rental and beginner hill lift ticket: $35

New this Season- Group Lessons for First Time Ski or Snowboard - Reservations are required 24 hours in advance and are for participants 8 years and older. Group sizes will be up to 8 students and may include a mix of ages.

Times: Saturdays 1 pm and Sunday at 10:30 am or 1 pm.

Cost: $18 per student for 1 hour lesson; $30 for package that includes lesson, rental and beginner hill lift ticket

Maine Learn to Ski and Ride Card

Titcomb Mountain is participating with Sunday River and Sugarloaf resorts to offer a unique learn to ski and ride program. It is called the "Maine Learn to Ski and Ride Card". Together the three resorts are providing beginner skiers and snowboarders with a new program that packages a lesson and three days of lift tickets and rentals into one pre-loaded card.

The $89 Maine Learn to Ski and Ride Card can be purchased at Titcomb Mountain and will provide three days of skiing or riding as follows:

Day 1: Ticket, rental, and group lesson at Titcomb Mountain

Day 2: Ticket and rental at Titcomb Mountain

Day 3: Ticket and rental at either Sugarloaf or Sunday River

This card will be sold at Titcomb Mountain during its regular operating hours starting December 19, 2009. Advance reservations will be required for the first day, ski or snowboard group lesson portion of the card that will only be available on weekends or during vacation weeks. Group lessons are only available for ages 8 years and older. Private lessons and advanced lessons are not included in this package.
